Obverse description Central field features the crowned arms of Catalonia, consisting of a quartered shield displaying the four pallets of Aragon alternating with a cross, enclosed within a decorative border. The date 1754 appears in the lower portion of the field, flanked by small decorative elements. The encircling legend reads ·PRINCEPS· ·CATALON·, identifying the issuing authority as the Principality of Catalonia. The overall design is executed in a bold, slightly irregular style characteristic of Barcelona Mint copper coinage of this period.
