Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait conveys the youthful features of Caracalla as Caesar during the joint reign with Septimius Severus.
