Reverse description Frontal view of an octastyle temple set upon a podium of three steps, with eight tall Corinthian columns supporting a triangular pediment in which a circular shield (or orb) is displayed. The architectural rendering is detailed, showing the columns in perspective. The legend ROM S P AVG appears within the entablature of the temple, while S - PR and COM BIT are inscribed in the fields to the left and right respectively, referencing the provincial Koinon of Bithynia and its common coinage. A beaded border encircles the entire design.
