| Obverse description | Bare-headed and bearded bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curled hair and full beard characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The emperor is depicted with a draped and cuirassed bust, his effigy occupying the central field in the Hellenistic provincial tradition. A beaded border frames the design along the inner edge of the coin. The Latin legend HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P runs around the periphery of the obverse field. |
