| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Vespasian facing right, depicted with characteristic portrait features including a broad, fleshy face and short hair beneath the laurel wreath. The bust is draped, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style typical of early Flavian tetradrachms. The surrounding legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ in Greek characters, with the regnal year L Β (Year 2) also inscribed in the field. |
