| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, with short beard, rendered in the provincial style typical of Mesopotamian civic coinage. The effigy displays characteristic portraiture of Macrinus, with layered laurel wreath and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading from lower left and distributed around the periphery of the flan.
