| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian as Caesar, facing right and seen from the rear, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mesopotamian civic coinage. The youthful effigy displays a finely modelled neck and layered paludamentum over the cuirass. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, identifying the subject by his imperial titulature. |
