| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, portrayed with characteristic Flavian facial features. The effigy is rendered in the Roman imperial tradition, with a radiate wreath of laurel encircling the head. The Greek legend ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΥ ΣΕΒ (Autokrator Kaisaros Domitianos Sebastos) runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
