Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with bare neck, within a dotted border. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with a boldly modelled portrait. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΣΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ ΔΑΚΙΚ, abbreviating his imperial titulature as Imperator Traianus Sebastos Germanicus Dacicus.
