Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of the Emperor Titus facing right, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style with a boldly modelled portrait. The laureate wreath is clearly articulated around the head. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚ ΤΙΤΟΥ ΚΑΙΣ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ ΣΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Autocrator Titus Caesar Vespasianus Sebastos. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of Alexandrian tetradrachms of this period.
