| Obverse description | Laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic curled hair and beard rendered in the Antonine style, surmounted by a laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend reads partially around the periphery of the flan. The die work is competent provincial craftsmanship, typical of the Alexandrian mint under the joint reign of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus. |
