Reverse description Demeter standing facing with head turned to the left, clad in a long chiton and himation, extending her right hand to present ears of grain and holding a tall lit torch in her left hand. The goddess is rendered in a formal, frontal stance typical of Alexandrian provincial issues. The regnal year date L ΙΗ (year 18) appears divided in the left and right fields flanking the figure.
