Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the Romano-Egyptian provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. A Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading partially ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his titulature. The coin surface shows significant wear and encrustation consistent with its age and circulation history.
