Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, portrayed in three-quarter rear view. The effigy displays fine engraving of the imperial laurel wreath and drapery folds across the shoulder and chest. The Greek legend encircles the bust within the field, reading partially along both sides of the coin.

Reverse description Draped bust of Selene, the Greek goddess of the Moon, facing right, adorned with a prominent crescent moon above her head. The goddess is rendered in typical Alexandrian provincial style with carefully articulated drapery visible at the shoulder.
