| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait features a short beard rendered in fine detail, characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The Greek imperial legend is disposed around the periphery of the field in two segments. The overall style is consistent with Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage of the early second century AD. |
