Obverse description	Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear, displaying paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and pteryges at the lower cuirass. The emperor's effigy is depicted in the characteristic Alexandrian style with fine engraving of the laurel wreath and facial features. The Greek imperial legend is arranged in two groups around the periphery of the field.

Reverse description	Personification of Alexandria standing facing with head turned to the left, wearing a turreted crown and military attire, holding a wreath extended in her right hand and a vexillum (military standard) in her left hand. The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic-Roman provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The Greek date legend ΕΤ ΕΝΑΤ, denoting regnal year nine of Hadrian (124-125 AD), appears in the field.
