Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, depicted from the rear, with finely rendered hair and beard characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The effigy displays the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, conveying imperial military authority. A continuous Greek legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ Π Π ΥΠ Γ, identifying the emperor with his full titulature. The portrait is rendered in high relief typical of provincial Greek civic coinage of the early second century AD.
