Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus facing right, set within a dotted border. The emperor is portrayed in the conventional imperial manner of the Severan period, with a laurel wreath crowning the head. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular flan and surface wear.
