Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder, the bust presented in a three-quarter rear view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style characteristic of early Antonine coinage. A continuous Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field.
