Reverse description Draped and radiate bust of Helios, the sun god, facing right, with prominent solar rays emanating from his crown in the distinctive Alexandrian artistic tradition. The bust is rendered with flowing drapery over the left shoulder, consistent with Egyptian provincial portraiture of the period. The field to the left bears the regnal date ligature L (etos symbol) and to the right the numeral Β (2), denoting regnal year 2 of the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. The coin is encircled by a dotted border, partially visible on the well-preserved right side of the flan.
