| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian style with finely engraved hair beneath the laurel wreath. A six-pointed star appears in the right field before the bust. The surrounding Greek legend reads partially around the border, interrupted by the dotted border. The portrait displays strong imperial characterization typical of Trajanic provincial coinage from the Alexandria mint. |
