| Reverse description | Dikaiosyne, the personification of Justice, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left, rendered in flowing drapery in the Hellenistic tradition favoured by the Alexandrian mint. She extends a pair of scales in her right hand, symbolising equity and fair judgment, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia, emblematic of abundance. The regnal date legend L ΙΘ (Year 19) appears in the field, confirming the coin's attribution to the nineteenth year of Trajan's reign. A dotted border frames the reverse design. The flan is of irregular shape, consistent with hand-struck provincial coinage of the period. |
