Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander facing right, seen from the rear, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the left shoulder, and the cuirass detail is faintly discernible. A continuous Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor with his full titulature.
