Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar to right, viewed from the rear, the youthful effigy rendered with short curling hair. The surrounding Greek legend reads Π ϹΕΠΤΙΜΙΟϹ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ, partially visible along the border of the irregularly struck flan. The portraiture reflects the Alexandrian provincial style, with soft modelling characteristic of the local mint's output under the Severan dynasty.
