Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, with short beard rendered in detailed relief. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic Severan portraiture with pronounced facial features. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, abbreviated across multiple segments. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of Alexandrian provincial coinage of the period.

Reverse description Four-line Greek inscription ΠΕΡΙ/ΟΔΟϹ within a laurel wreath tied at the base, with the regnal year numeral L Ι (Year 10) below the main text. The wreath is rendered with carefully delineated leaves extending symmetrically on both sides. The inscription refers to the Alexandrian Perioidos festival. The overall composition is centrally placed within the wreath, a hallmark of Alexandrian tetradrachm reverses of this era.
