Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The portrait displays finely engraved facial features with the laureate wreath clearly visible around the head. The surrounding legend in Greek characters reads ΝΕΡΩ ΚΛΑΥ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΓΕΡ ΑΥΤΟ, abbreviating his full imperial titulature. The field is flat and the flan slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial issues of the period.
