| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Emperor Nero facing right, wearing an aegis on the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The portrait displays the characteristic fleshy features of Nero's later coinage, with radiating spikes of the crown clearly delineated.
