| Obverse description | Radiate bust of the emperor Nero, wearing an aegis, facing left. The effigy displays the characteristic Neronian portrait style with curled hair and radiate crown. The surrounding Greek legend, divided by the regnal year date, encircles the bust. The date formula L ΙΔ (year 14 of Nero's reign) appears in the lower left field, consistent with the Alexandrian dating convention. |
