| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Lucius Verus, facing left and seen from the rear, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The emperor's military attire is depicted with characteristic detail, the paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The Greek legend partially encircles the bust within a beaded border. The flan is irregular, as typical of Alexandrian billon tetradrachms of this period. |
