Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. A crescent symbol appears to the right of the bust in the field. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery, partially visible due to the irregular flan. The portrait displays the characteristic Hadrianic bearded effigy rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style.

Reverse description An eagle stands facing right, perched atop a thunderbolt, its head turned to the right and wings partially spread in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial numismatic convention. The regnal year date in Greek numerals, L Δ (Year 4), is divided across the field, with L to the left of the eagle and Δ to the right. The reverse field is plain, framed by a partial beaded border visible at the coin's periphery. The design reflects the Ptolemaic eagle type adopted for Roman provincial coinage at Alexandria.
