The emperor is depicted bearded, as is characteristic of his portraiture. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ ϹΕΒ, identifying him as Autocrator Caesar Trajanus Hadrianus Sebastos.
