| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with a wreath of laurel framing the emperor's aged, bearded portrait. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕ, naming the emperor with his epithet Eusebios (Pius), contained within a beaded border. |
