| Reverse description | The personification of Roma seated left on a cuirass, draped and helmeted, holding in her extended right hand a small figure of Nike and in her left hand a long spear. The regnal year date L ΚΒ (Year 22) appears in the right field, corresponding to the 22nd year of Antoninus Pius's reign (158–159 AD). The composition follows the conventional Alexandrian tetradrachm reverse type honoring Rome's martial virtue. |
