Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery at the shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The emperor is depicted with a short curly beard and finely detailed hair. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ΕΥϹ ϹΕΒ in the field surrounding the effigy.
