Reverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, with abundant curling hair and beard rendered in the classical tradition, drapery visible on the left shoulder. The image draws on the canonical Alexandrian Zeus type used throughout the Ptolemaic and Roman provincial series. To the left of the bust appears the regnal year marker L (symbol for etos, meaning 'year'), and to the right the numeral Γ (3), indicating the third regnal year of Philip I, corresponding to 245–246 AD. The whole is set within a dotted border.
