The emperor is depicted with his characteristic beard, the laurel wreath rendered in fine detail about the head. The Greek legend encircles the bust in the field, reading ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his epithet Eusebes (Pious).
