Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, depicted from the rear in the distinctive Alexandrian three-quarter back view. The emperor's armour is rendered with fine detail, the paludamentum falling over the left shoulder. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his title and epithet.
