| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the distinctive Alexandrian provincial style, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated around the head. The obverse legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ ΕΥΣΕΒ disposed around the bust. The flan is irregular, as typical of Alexandrian billon tetradrachms of this period, and the relief is moderately high with characteristic granular surface texture. |
