Obverse description Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius right, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, seen from the rear. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the typical Antonine style with a laurel wreath crowning the head. The peripheral legend in Greek script reads ΑΝΤωΝ(Ε)ΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his epithet Eusebēs (the Pious).
