Obverse description Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right and seen from the rear, with the legend ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ disposed around the periphery in Greek characters. The portrait presents the emperor in his customary Antonine style, with the laureate wreath rendered in low relief characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage.
