| Obverse description | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, with hair elaborately dressed and gathered at the nape, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The portrait is executed in moderate relief typical of billon tetradrachms of the Antonine period. The encircling Greek legend reads ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝ ϹΕΒ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ ΘΥΓ, identifying her as Augusta, daughter of the pious emperor. |
