Reverse description Draped bust of the god Sarapis facing right, wearing the characteristic kalathos (modius) on his head and a taenia (fillet), with elaborately rendered drapery about the shoulders. The syncretic deity is depicted in the Hellenistic tradition as practised in Alexandrian coinage. In the left field appears the regnal year symbol L (Egyptian for 'year'), and to the right the numerals ΙΗ (18), together denoting Year 18 of Antoninus Pius's reign, corresponding to 154–155 AD.
