Reverse description Draped bust of the river god Nilus facing right, crowned with a taenia and lotus buds, a reed visible at the shoulder. Before the bust, a cornucopia from which emerges a small figure of the Genius holding a wreath. The regnal year date L ΙΘ (Year 19 of Antoninus Pius, corresponding to 155-156 AD) appears in the field. The composition is a characteristic Alexandrian iconographic type celebrating the fertility and abundance of the Nile, rendered in the provincial hammered style.
