Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing left, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The laurel wreath is visible atop the imperial effigy, with drapery indicated at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The portrait displays the bearded visage typical of Antoninus Pius coinage from the Egyptian provincial series.
