| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing left, with slight traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic surface granularity associated with billon tetradrachms of the Alexandrian mint. |
