| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed laurel wreath. The portrait displays characteristically Flavian physiognomy with a strong jawline and aquiline profile. The encircling Greek legend reads ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ around the bust, identifying the subject as Caesar Domitian. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of provincially struck hammered silver coinage of the Flavian period. |
