Reverse description Athena (or Roma) seated left on a throne, holding a small Nike figure in her extended right hand and a long spear in her left hand. A large round shield rests at her feet to the left. The composition is framed by the Alexandrian regnal date legend L Β (Year 2, corresponding to 285-286 AD) positioned in the field, with L to the left and Β to the right of the seated figure. The reverse type follows a well-established Alexandrian numismatic tradition of depicting enthroned deities associated with wisdom and martial virtue.
