| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Galerius Maximianus, Caesar, facing right in three-quarter view. The emperor wears a laurel wreath and military cuirass, rendered in the typical late Roman Alexandrian style. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΓΑΛ ΜΑΞΙΜΙΑΝΟϹ Κ, identifying the Caesar.
