| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is boldly struck within a beaded border, displaying characteristic late Roman provincial portraiture. The surrounding legend reads ΦΛΑ ΚωΝϹΤΑΝΤΙΟϹ Κ, identifying the caesar Constantius Chlorus. The flan is irregular, as typical of Alexandrian tetradrachms of the Diocletianic era. |
