Reverse description Tyche, the personification of Alexandria's fortune, depicted standing left in long draped robes, holding a ship's rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm. The reverse field carries the regnal date legend L Δ (Year 4, corresponding to 295–296 AD), placed to either side of the standing figure. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border typical of Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage of the Tetrarchic period.
